The reseach programme Exercise First is the result of a close collaboration between Region Sjælland (Region Zealand) and PROgrez at Næstved, Slagelse and Ringsted Hospitals.
The intent of the programme is to research, develop, test and implement targeted preventive and therapeutic health interventions, including e-health solutions, that support appropriate, patient-regulated health behavior in patients with or at risk for chronic diseases.
The programme seeks to promote easily accessible diagnosis, treatment and tools for self-care that ensure that the individual patient receives the right health professional support at the right time.
